PRINCIPAL

Agrees the principles underpinning each Academy’s admissions policy including that of SEN students, and the PAN and AN.

Provides support for setting and reviewing admissions policies and liaising with the LA

Provides support and guidance in the area of marketing

Monitors student numbers and their impact on the financial health of the Academy

Is responsible for monitoring statutory compliance on behalf of the Trust

Is responsible for agreeing the principles on which the Academy’s admission policy is based in line with the academy’s strategic plan as agreed by the Board

Is responsible for managing any appeals to the admissions process

Is responsible for providing support, challenge, advice and encouragement in the area of marketing

Implements the Academy’s admissions policy and the appeals process

Develops and implements the Academy’s strategic marketing plan

Measures the success of the marketing plan through the agreed key performance indicators and, most particularly, through student numbers
